Don't You Just Hate It, When

You see something online that you really want and someone beats you to it. Tonight, a missed a Simmons head on Facebook Marketplace. Someone say the ad before me and bought it for $50.00 ! Even if it was cracked and not repairable, I would have taken a chance for that.

The moral of the story is stay off those social media sites and you will avoid the disappointments. Easy.

Another moral: You see something you want, buy it. It won’t be there when you look tomorrow.

Another moral, thank your lucky stars you weren't the one just scammed on a unique part for sale cheap advertised on a broad social media platform...
Call me anything you want...just so long as it isn't "late for dinner"

LOL I have been on both sides of this! Got lucky or missed by that much (holding 2 fingers together about an 1/8th of an inch apart)
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Mark, I've been on both sides, too. I got a 26-27 Stoplight with license plate bracket that needed no restoring for $50.00. When I saw this head on local Facebook, seller said make offer. I would have loved to tell him $50.00, but I didn't want to make such an embarrassing low bid. When I asked what he considered fair, he said he had sold it to the first person for $50..00, but I was the third person to offer him even more.
