I am working on my new 17 Maxwell and am wanting to put new hoses on the car. The one that is on it is an ancient spiral wrapped red hose like a T but these hoses are longer. Anyone know where to get period hoses? I have searched and can't find anything except T hoses in that style. Also, who is good at making leather fan belts?
As always, Thanks and God Bless!
Does anyone know a source for red wrapped radiator hoses?

Restoration Supply Co makes many sizes of that red hose, that’s what I used on my Maxwell. I also had a leather belt made by Then and Now Automotive.

I still have two new small T hoses yet that I don't need.
There is a red rubber paint for insulating electrical engine components.
That might work with a thin layer on the slightly off color red hoses.

Maybe contact one of the vendors and see where they get them from, or maybe they would have some stock that isn't cut yet?

None of the venders I know about has had any real red hose for at least 8 years ago now.

Model T diameter is too small, you could cut down Model A hose to fit.
