FS 1913 Ford Light delivery truck

Post by YellowTRacer » Fri Oct 11, 2024 2:33 am

Price drop! Can't believe someone hasn't realized how much fun they could have with this thing just getting it running and enjoying it the way it is. It doesn't need a restoration just some TLC and refreshening. Sooner or later some ones going to wake up to what a deal this is. The 30X3 1/2 wire wheels are worth a bundle by themselves. An original authentic 1913 Ford Model T light delivery, not a repo body, but original. Very authentic with what appears to be a brush painted 1940s/50s repaint and some tacked on black vinyl upholstery "fix up". Chassis is 1913 throughout except for the front spring. Body is original, from the era. Headlights are missing. hood is there laying in the bed. It has a few era accessories including Bosch magneto ignition, shock absorbers, double front wishbone support, running board tool box and running board mount spare tire brackets, 5 original early style 30 X 3 ½ wire wheels. The engine cranks over but has not run in decades. A real neat piece of history just out of the barn. More pictures available on request. $5,600.00

I can't believe no-one has bought this yet either. Such a neat looking machine! If only there wasn't so much water between here and there...

I'll help keep this to the top for the seller by now just saying this just seems to affirm what I've said in earlier posts to which I have sorta been taken to task on. Things are changing friends. I'm actually kicking myself for forgetting to keep an eye on a very nice '20 Runabout last month that was "given away" at the ungodly low asking price of only $10K and I'd be willing to bet it went for less than that.

Yeah the red shag rug is what makes this such an exciting deal. When have you had the opportunity to buy a T with red shag carpeting?? It even matches the color of those wire wheels.

I was a little disappointed with the available flooring options while shopping for my T. Thinking about floor covering options for my coupe. Maybe shag is the way to go. Not sure whether I should color match the body or the interior fabric.

It would be the most luxurious T out there, thick black shiny shag.
What does your car have for an ignition, is that an Eisemann magneto?
