I believe those rim nuts fit the 725 valve stems.

Mike, in your opinion, do you feel that the rim nuts pictured are not a match for the valver covers shown?

Re: Original Brass Schrader tire valve covers / dust caps
My basket case late 1911 Touring did have a couple of these rim nut/washers on a couple of wheels. I understand between 1911 and when I purchased the car in 1980 a lot of things could have been changed. But my research has lead me to believe these are correct. The rim nuts just need a leather washer on the rim side. These original rim nuts/washers with the markings are very hard to find. Once again only my opinion.

Hi Bill, so those valve covers will fit with those rim nuts, however those rim nuts fit the 725 valve stem size and so you will have to do a lot of turning the cover to get it off the stem. The original round rim nuts had a small shoulder that the covers threaded onto. The rim nut have pictured below fit the smaller diameter 777 stems. They also do not have any markings on them.Bill Everett wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 10:06 amMike, in your opinion, do you feel that the rim nuts pictured are not a match for the valver covers shown?
