Pic #4 reminds me of when we were kids Dad would pull us around behind our 54 Ford wagon. Fun times, nowdays he probably would be in jail and us kids in foster care.
Back road kinda guy stuck on the freeway of life.

I don't know what I'd do if I lived where it snowed like that and to think it lasts for months. One day in January 1949 it snowed in Montrose where I lived as a boy. Only lasted on the ground for about 3 days. That is the most snow I have ever lived in. My dad took me to school which was about 3 miles. I was in middle school at the time. We stood in front of the school for about a half hour. By then he was gone to work. The principal came out and said, there would be no school that day. So I walked home in the snow. I looked like a snowman when I got home. That house was about 30 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 2,000' I did not go to Los Angeles at the time but heard it snowed there too.
e did go to the mountains to ski or sled or just throw snowballs at least once each winter, but to have 2 or 3 months of it?
