1921 C Cab Ton Truck. I purchased this neat Ton Truck from Bryan Ostergren in 2021. Although it ran and drove fine, it was intended to be used as a prop outside the garage. It has not been driven since it was purchased. To be honest, it is a shame to let it not be driven as intended. As such, it is now for sale. This truck has all the bells and whistles such as a Ruckstell rear axle, Warford auxiliary transmission and accessory Rocky Mountain rear brakes. It has not been drive since purchased. It shouldn't take much to get her road worthy once again. Pictures are as it was when purchased. Price is $5,000. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928

Re: FS 1921 TON TRUCK
I can add this to Mark's post.
I actualy owned the truck from 1992 until 2021. I sold it to Robert Weitzel at the Tulare meet. Robert then sold it to Mark. It had a dump bed on it when I owned it. The engine was rebuilt with aluminum pistons, stainless valves, new babbitt, balanced pistons rods and crank, Chaffin's 270 regrind cam. The trans was rebushed and balanced. The Ruckstell has 5:1 gears. The auxiliary trans is a cast iron over/under/direct Warford. It was a good driver. Even with the god-awful-heavy dump bed it could run with passenger Ts (on flat ground!). It should be really easy to get it driveable again. Hell of a deal for 5 grand.

If I was a TT guy I’d be all over this.

The truck has found a new home.
