Are you a real human?

Post by AdminJeff » Tue Feb 25, 2025 4:23 pm

You may see a new screen next time you log onto the form asking if you are an actual human being instead of a bot or a hacker. You may see this the first time you login next. No action on your part is necessary.

Whatever improvements you made, they have REALLY perked up the site! The site now scampers right along, like a Model T, rather than dragging itself down the road, like some old, worn out Chevy.

Don't you know some rouge AI running on a 1951 war surplus generator in the basement of a apartment complex in down town Asaba is really down in the dumps tonight as it can't get into the forum! Once I clicked on the thing it let me right in!

Jeff, Chris, I cannot thank you guys enough for all your hard work and efforts in our behalf! The fact that you have continued to stick it out and fight through these assaults says a great deal about your character.
Hopefully, things can run smoothly for awhile now?
Go for a drive in the T, enjoy an ice cream. Maybe after a nap first?

Thank You Guys,

It has to be tough (kinda like Whack A Mole) thwarting hackers & scammers. Too bad there is no real way to find out who they actually are!

The unusually high number of. " GUESTS " at any time on this forum were probably the hackers that contributed to the problem.... Thanks very much 🙏😊 to everyone for your help.

Dan, we were tipped off by someone close to you that we always need to check you.... and it's valuable info for yourself, wouldn't you agree? ;)

It's simply because the network you connect to is not permanently known to be a trusted network. That may or may not change as time goes on.

I get the message some times and other times not. The forum seems to be consistently faster since it was introduced.

Being in rural 'Bama, it probably depends on if anyone is operating the switchboard at Ma & Pa Kettle's Phone, Internet, Fish Bait, BBQ & General Store. LOL

Heck, even here in beach side tourist town AT&T only offers most of us residents first Gen antiquated copper DSL, where the company officially "retired" copper 15 years ago!!!!!
Call me anything you want...just so long as it isn't "late for dinner"

We were all sitting at same table at McDonald’s.
After I ask the question here, it got to where I didn’t have to answer the check. Then later it is back to every time I come on here have to check the box. ???????

Verification repeats itself, usually 3-6 times, before admitting I'm human.

For some of us, it's not always easy to tell at first glance.

Did anything change with the pictures? I was trying to upload the other day and receiving errors. I forget what the error was (it wasn't the too big), trying again and it seems to work just fine now. Or at least on this thread, the error would pup up on the status box and wouldnt show the check.

When trying to upload in the forum it pops open a new window showing http error. The same photos upload on this thread with no problem for some reason.

Chad, I believe the error was because the pictures weren"t specifically Model Ts.
