This section of the forum is for folks who want to sell their vehicles, NOT for random comments from the peanut gallery that are unrelated to interest in pursuing purchasing the car. Do NOT post your car for sale in someone else's ad. It's not only rude, it's unprofessional.

Additionally, Keep your opinion comments out of this section. You know who you are, and if I see more unrelated comments appear in this section, they will be deleted and you may be banned from the forums. Seriously.

Hopefully this is crystal clear.... I shouldn't even have to state the above, but here we are.

Thank You Jeff! It really is unprofessional and un-gentleman like.

Why not make it where the only person who can post to a thread is the original person who posted the ad?
If someone has a question about the car they can send an email or a PM.
That would put an end to what you are trying stop.

I agree with Dan 100%. I think this should also be applied to the Parts For Sale section as well. The other well known websites such as MAFCA, MARC, Ford Barn and Jalopy Journal do not allow other people to comment post on the For Sale or Wanted parts/cars sections. I call the people who post opinions on For Sale sections Nose Pickers.

These words should be banned from ever being said "Why cant you just?". Some things may seem like you can snap your fingers and make it so. It's not that easy!

Agree 100%. If someone has a question about an item they have for sale it can be done via the forum message system or email.
