Stoude Mak-A-Tractor
As of yesterday (6/17), there is a beautiful photograph on the SHORPY website of an old dealership in Plentywood, Montana, that apparently sold and installed a kit which would turn a Model T Ford into a farm tractor. For anyone not familiar with the Shorpy website, just "Google" Shorpy, bring up the website, scroll down a bit to the photograph, and if you "click" on the photo, it will enlarge it, and if you click on the enlarged photo, it will then bring up "comments", which, in this case, brings up a very interesting September 1917 advertisement that details the Stoude Mak-A-Tractor and various attachments. An interesting "read" for sure, and the beautiful old glass plate photo alone is certainly worth a look. FWIW,.....harold
