Not sure if it is just my computer but is anyone else having to be verified every time they open the site? I understand the reason behind this, but unless I keep the page open, I have to get verified every time I open the site. I don't log in each time I come to this page, that information is saved so page opens as soon as I click on it, so I would think that would not need to be verified each time and system should remember my computer.

Mark... Every time get on to our site I also have to be verified... To me it's protection for the site and also for me and for everybody else.... Enjoy when your verification goes through,. ...... Without it access would be denied I'm sure.

One extra click and a few seconds waiting.
I suppose it depends on how much of a hurry we are in to see the new posts

I’ve noticed it takes a little longer to get on but most of the time it’s less than 1 min or less.
These days there is so many more unscrupulous people that will do anything to get your personal information. As little as 5 years ago it wasn’t that way. And it won’t get any better either. It’s a different world folks and it’s the downside of the digital, world.

When I click on the site with my phone, I count 6 seconds and I'm on. With my sloooww computer it takes about 12 seconds. Not bad if you ask me.

A few seconds here, and my connection is not up to date. It's well worth it to keep the sidewalk cleaner!

Same here. My phone is a little quicker but my IPad it takes about twice as long. I like my IPad better as it has a much bigger screen.

Re: New verified logon
Think of the website as an old telephone switch board . A trouble maker may tie it up by making multiple connections filling it up . The new logon verifies you an makes the connection. but if you are inactive for a period of time it unplugs you to free up a connection
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
