134 East Jefferson is now the entrance of the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

Re: Wheeler muffler
Appears to be similar in size to a standard T muffler outlet.

Re: Wheeler muffler
I believe this was fabricated with Model T muffler ends. I'm thinking that outlet port s a little small...

Re: Wheeler muffler
I'm curious about the construction.
The pipe from the manifold is about 1-1/2" in diameter.
It is welded onto a pipe that is about 3" in diameter.
Does the 1-1/2" pipe go farther into the 3" pipe?
The muffler part looks to be made from late stamped muffler ends.
I suppose the center shell is not used, but the middle one is used?
The 3" pipe on the end has a butterfly valve to open for straight pipe, or divert exhaust through the other shell.
I would like to see a cutaway diagram.
Thanks,
Keith
