Full Flow Float Valves™ for NH, Vaporizer and Simmons (Wizard) - Back in stock!
Cures rips, tears, snares, corns, callouses, and beats back bad breath
not really
but it WILL make your car go up steep hills even with a low gas tank, and make "vapor lock" a thing of the past. You will never encounter a "9 gallon hill" again, with a float valve that REALLY FLOWS. If you're really unsure if they work, just ask the guy who just passed you on your next tour, or one of the many many Forum users who have already taken the plunge.
I am the designer, the manufacturer, and sole source for these valves. Beware of imitations.
As always, INQUIRE VIA EMAIL THROUGH THE MTFCA WEBSITE - NOT MESSAGING
QUESTIONS ALMOST ALWAYS RESPONDED TO THE SAME DAY
Thank you

If you don’t have one in your NH, you better get one. Great product! Thanks for making it Scott.

I haven't had luck with these valves. I wonder if the additives in the California gasoline has something to do with it?

AI BOT
Specific gravity (SG) is a measurement of how dense an object or substance is compared to water, and it's used to determine if something will float or sink.
California gasoline typically has a slightly higher specific gravity compared to regular gasoline in other regions due to the mandatory addition of oxygenates like ethanol, which are slightly denser than the hydrocarbons in standard gasoline, resulting in a slightly heavier fuel mix; however, the overall difference in specific gravity is usually small and within the normal range for gasoline
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I have two of these valves in straight thru NH carbs and they work flawlessly. No longer run out of gas on a hill unless the gas in the tank is stupidly low!

Unlike some folks, I will not bump this ad every other day. Every couple of weeks is fine.
Don't wait until the week before your summer tour. Get your car ready while the weather is still cool.

This ad is being bumped after 4 weeks of dormancy, hopefully is an example to folks who feel that bumping their own ad every 2 days and driving everyone else's out of sight is really clever. It really isn't. If folks want what you have, they'll find it and buy it, regardless of how often you pimp it.
See you in a few weeks or months

Scott,
I don't know if you did this before but is there a writeup somewhere that shows the difference in float valves and how they work? I've got a 26 so my tank is always above the carb. Some new guys may benefit from your expertise. Including me.

other than Dan Treace doing a write up of my valve in the club magazine a few years ago I know of no one who has ever done a comparison of valves. I can state with certainty, though, that every valve offered commercially (other than mine), has a through-hole that is sized for a modern car using a fuel pump. They are made by major manufacturers whose primary market is for modern cars, and our NH valve was simply an adaptation of every other valve they make (and they all need fuel pumps to operate properly).
My valve is specifically designed for the very low head pressure in a Model T, and the generally higher constant speeds that we run at.
As an example, here is a picture of a disassembled Grose Jet (valve) next to my valve and you'll see that the Grose Jet has a 25% smaller hole than mine which works out to nearly a 50% reduction of flow area. Every other valve has a similarly mis-proportioned body as well.
