What do Y'all think of this T?

Good morning y'all got a good one for you. I'm currently helping a friend with a T he just bought. it's titled as a 23 but the engine is a 4 dip 25 motor based on what I'm seeing. he bought it since he has a boiled pnut business and wanted a vehicle to not only sell pnuts out of but as essentially a rolling advertisement. so far it's been a roaring success, literally. this little truck is in a condition i would call a Lazarus condition. this poor thing sat since 2006 until he bought it and we resurrected it. it's got some issues naturally, like the wiring which is completely shot and a cooling system that will boil if run for too long. but that being said it's all fixable so far. we're pulling the water pump off and flushing the radiator tomorrow. i made a temporary wiring setup to just run the engine for diagnostics and getting to the sandlot 2 blocks over to try selling pnuts. amazingly the engine has great compression, no knocking or unsusual noises. I overhauled the carburetor and we got it running on the 10th. so far it's been a success but on Wednesday he's taking it to the sandlot to gauge the public's reaction to the truck. What do y'all think of it?

Looks like a solid vehicle, and using it in a vending business ought to work out very well.

It's definitely solid, it does have a few bugaboos to work out mechanically like an extremely worn hand lever ratchet and pawl leading to some entertaining scenarios to put it nicely, but we got new ones on the way. once the money starts rolling in from selling the pnuts he's going to really to a no expense spared overhaul on the thing, anything it needs it gets.

Whatever you/he does don't overdo or even changed its current external appearance. That's likely what is drawing people to it. Making it look fresh out of the paint booth with graphics will take away from is nostalgia appeal.

The idea is not to change but ot clean up the existing look. it fits the agricultural theme but it is somewhat shabby looking up close. the wood is grayed in areas and the sheet metal has cracked paint and rust spots here and there. He's been sanding and oiling the wood but no stain or paint to the design. we will make the sheet metal more presentable but not overdone. it will look like a work vehicle on the job not a show pony for looks.

my friend Kenny the owner has a business license to sell peanuts and as far as we know no commercial vehicle license is required where we are.

Kenny sells boiled pnuts both original and Cajun and he has on old royal #5 coffee roaster he uses to roast pnuts. he sold almost 12 tons of peanuts last year. imagine what this little thing will do to his business
