axle gear

Post by ryanpad » Wed Jun 18, 2025 4:05 pm

I'm trying to identify the manufacturer of a non ford script gear. It appears to be the same as a ford gear but the axle it came off of was a little shorter and the key slot was different. I'd like to use it but with the proper key.

I'm always leery about using non-Ford parts. If it were mine, I'd be looking for a Ford gear.

I'd have to agree with Jerry unless you want the practice of possibly having to do it over.
