Restore It? -> N.A. Petry Co Inc - Exhaust dump

Post by fireheadman » Mon Aug 18, 2025 5:15 pm

Is this worth trying to restore?.... or has anyone come across them somewhere to get replacement parts?

This came off my Pie Wagon and does work, but it needs some attention to make it work correctly

There were Cooper cut outs reproduced at one point.
I'll see if I still have one.

I have one exactly like that on my speedster. Works great!

I can understand such an item being part of an exhaust whistle, but what use is it just to divert the exhaust straight out?

I believe its purpose was to offer a hot rodding experience from the massive 20 hp engine we have…. And now that I know it was on there. I can only imagine the thoughts my grandfather had using it.

I’d like to put one back on it, but this one seems destined for the wall decor
