Seems to be Goodyear clincher cord tires from the 1920s.

I knew there was a reason I liked that design
As Tom Sellick told Marston in the movie Quigley Down Under, I told you I dont have much use for handguns, I never said I didn't know how to use them!

Some don't like Blockleys because of the tread design, but it's period correct.

Re: Blockley in 1922 ?
The diamond tread pattern on the Goodyears vs the Blockleys isn't the same.
The Goodyear tread is as follows:
3 diamonds
2 diamonds
3 diamonds
2 diamonds
etc.
The Blockley tread is as follows:
2 diamonds
triangle, diamond, triangle*
2 diamonds
triangle, diamond, triangle
etc.
* or diamond with a 90 degree fold

The artist rendering is likely a more exaggerated pattern to enhance the ability of the tire.Erik Johnson wrote: ↑Fri Oct 31, 2025 6:37 pmThe diamond tread pattern on the Goodyears vs the Blockleys isn't the same.

Maybe both are
2 diamonds
diamond with a 90 degree fold diamond diamond with a 90 degree fold

Re: Blockley in 1922 ?
When I go to a event with my Blockleys on my car I highly doubt anyone cares about what the tires used to look like.
As Tom Sellick told Marston in the movie Quigley Down Under, I told you I dont have much use for handguns, I never said I didn't know how to use them!

For those who use the forum as a learning tool rather than a platform to criticize. Stopped by friends shop Today & by coincidence this was there with rock hard cracked Goodyear Cord Tires.
