For Sale - All remaining NH float valve installation tools - ALL SOLD

Post by Scott_Conger » Sat Nov 15, 2025 12:56 pm

These have been slow but steady sellers and I still have a dozen or so remaining from my last production run. I do not intend to make any more, so when these are gone, that's that. They will be but one more thing you didn't know you needed but someday will wish you had. Most people will "make do" with a screwdriver for wood screws, and then after deforming the brass body, wonder why the valve doesn't work quite right. Carburetor parts are not designed to be installed with a screwdriver...this is the style of tool that was designed to be used on them. This tool will install float valves with zero risk of any damage. Original tools are impossible to find and crazy expensive if you do locate the correct one. This tool is easy to find and isn't cheap but isn't crazy expensive, either.

They are well made with case-hardened steel; they are not tool steel. They are therefor unsuited for removal of obstinate valves - a torch and a large screwdriver will take care of those cases...

PLEASE EMAIL ME...DO NOT PM ME, BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE, THAT NO ONE WILL GO BACK AND READ MY REPLY ON THE PM SYSTEM

FINALLY, I AM NOT GOING TO MONITOR THIS AD AS IT SINKS OUT OF SIGHT, SO PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO REPLY HERE AND EXPECT A RESPONSE IN A TIMELY FASHION.

THANK YOU.

Note: you will be purchasing ONLY an installation tool and not a valve with it...the picture below is courtesy of Dan Treace and his article several years ago in the MTFCA magazine showing the tool in use.
