Re: Scouts out and about.
Thanks for the era photos Tom. I don’t usually care for speedsters but the white speedster 8th from the bottom is interesting. The windshield, I believe, was salvaged from a Dodge open car and only the top half frame was used. And see how they patched up between cowl curvature and stanchion ? Is the “splash apron” wooden ? And what a whopper of a steering wheel ! ….

Re: Scouts out and about.
Notice the two white speedsters have the hood in about the same place. Maybe low radiator cowl with high radiator.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Re: Scouts out and about.
The RHD roadster in photo 8 is interesting. I can't make up my mind whether it is Tarrant body or a Duncan and Fraser special. I am leaning to D&F on the basis of the cowl vents used, the trpe of protruding door hinges and the general design reminiscent of my 1925 D&F roadster. Both builders used those crowned fenders, but Tarrants had an extra rolled edge as well as the C moulding . Canting the windscreen like that would certainly help in hot weather.

Re: Scouts out and about.
Thank you for the pictures of the Scouts!
I made Eagle Scout in the 70's, really cool to see how they looked in the Model T era. My Dad wanted me to continue on into Explorer Scouts, but ironically Cars (& Girls) started taking up my time & interest
God Bless & Happy Thanksgiving
