]Grey-feather, I have heard you complain about White Doctors not being able to pour liquid out of a moccasin with instructions written on the sole. What is the difference between White medicine and Indian medicine?
My Young Brave, If you were to go to a White Doctor with a complaint he will give you a pill to correct the malady. Then when you return for a follow up you tell him the original malady is better but now I have this problem, He will deny that the first pill had anything to do with the second malady but here take this and continue taking the first pill I gave you. So by the time you are old you are taking a hand full of pills for breakfast, lunch and dinner and some in between as a snack I suppose and you no longer know who you are let alone your children or grand children. If you were to come to me with the same malady I would grind up some of mother earth’s bounty and either make it into a tea or poultice, if you then tell me something else just manifested it self I would ask you to remind me not to give that to you again and use another cure from mother earth’s bounty, When you are old you will be able to tell your Grandchildren about your youth while your children are out working.
