Union Forge Crank

Interesting early Union Forge counter weighted crank on eBay. You can tell because of the “patent applied for” and the forge stamp of a “U” in a circle

Glad you identified it. I was thinking it looked like a SureMike.

Was at the Cipriano Estate auction last week, did not bring too much. The tag that is on it was/is from a local shop, Magnafluxed, good/OK and listed as Standard on the mains.

I looked at the ad pictures. It looks like two different cranks.

That last photo in the listing is a different crankshaft, being sold in one of the sellers other auctions (common mistake). The other crankshaft is also from the auction, a "no-sale" in the first auction in November and sold in the latest auction.

Didn't even notice the tag when I first saw it and was going to send a note about getting it checked thinking it was a Surmike.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
