The other night, I was watching a show called “The World’s Strongest Man”. A series where four strongmen go around the world competing against eachother by trying to beat the feats of legendary strongmen of the past. On the show, they were competing to beat the record of a famous, turn of the century strongman who lifted a 1,500 lb. 1903 (I think), automobile. They went to a local auto museum, but could not find the type of 1903 car the strongman lifted, so they settled on the closest equivalent, which was a Chanel Green 1926 Model T Roadster,which was a few hundred pounds heavier. I won’t be a spoiler and tell you how it turned out, but it was very fun to watch a Model T being featured on a nationally televised program. Jim Patrick
