Re: Old Photo-Spedster store
Oops.
I didn't proof read the title. It should have been speedster, not spedster!
How do I fix that?

Re: Old Photo-Spedster store
It's nice to see a speedster with clean lines which flow rather than jump about., like many home built examples. I would like to see how the tail end was designed.

Re: Old Photo-Spedster store
Wow! Except for the wire wheels and top, that looks so much like the original boat-tail I had years ago.
I was never able to find definitive proof, however, several speedster "experts" agreed that it was likely a Champion body, offered in 1921 about. The rolled sheet metal seam is clearly visible in the OP photo, just how it was on my original body.
Another car I really wish I could have kept.

Re: Old Photo-Spedster store
I should also add, that I was fairly certain that my car had had a similar top way back in its earlier past. There were holes in the sheet metal for Murphy type fasteners that likely would have held the bottom back of the top in place.

Herb, the new forum allows you to edit the title during the preview. Now if only I could figure out where the pictures go in relation to the text, I would be there....
