1921 Front Spring
Can someone give me the eye to eye dimension for a 21 front spring? Mine seems to have sagged some.

James
All '09-'25 front 7 leaf assembled spring stacks, main leaf eye to eye are the same. 31 1/2" between the eyes.
What can make the sag is the stack, where the others are fatigued.
Should be about 7' high, un -sprung, with spring assembly resting on the eyes on a flat surface.

Re: 1921 Front Spring
Correct Richard, when front spring is loaded with car weight:
This is a rather old spring on the '23 cutoff, sags some. A well worn one can let the knuckle ride on the axle
This is a bit better clearance of a used front spring, but it's being helped with accessory Hassler Pancake shock. (Yes this left perch is twisted to the front for Pancakes...unlike the earlier Beehive that needs the perches switched right to left)
Comparison of perch to perch centers on a standard front axle.
