I don't think that "invented" would be the appropriate wording, more like designed. :D

It’s interesting,
That’s been on the History Channel before and it gets shown from time to time again on TV fairly often. It’s from The Men Who Built America series they did a few years ago.
For a purist it’s not exactly correct when they show some T’s not exactly correct for a certain time period but it’s a very good history in general about the industrial revolution and how cars played a big part in it and Ford was the trailblazer. Good stuff!

John, I too was kind of like ummm that’s not exactly right. I wish they would have talked more about the Alphabet cars that Ford did, but I guess it was more geared towards building the business rather than what he made…
