DATSUN oil pump to ‘T’

Post by Stephen1915 » Fri Feb 24, 2023 8:30 pm

Any pictures up close of piping and orientation of the Datsun B-210 series Oil pump and filter? Past forum threads haven’t included all the information one would need. Tell us how you did it!

Thank you!

A picture I have handy!
The nipple on top is a priming location after an oil change.

Just like Les, this is all I’ve got at the moment. What are you wantin to know…?

There’s a few things I’m not crazy about with the typical Datsun pump install, but doesn’t stop me from enjoying mine. I was hoping to fix a few of these with my recent alternator build, but haven’t been able to test the pump yet. I already know the alternator is low output at best, but the pump should work

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

My list of Datsun pump dislikes is mostly stoopid stuff that probably doesn’t make much of a difference. I air out most of my concerns on this not so old thread;
