Found one of the new tires I installed last year shows a lot of cracking on the sidewall. The Excelsior tires were purchased in 2007, unwrapped last year just before installing.

I had found a similar situation when I rebuilt one of my hogsheads. The brake pedal was rubbing against the side of the hogshead and was easily remedied by bending it to the left. The method for repairing wood felloe wheels would be to remove the rivets that hold the wood fellow to the steel rim and use a steel band or wood veneer as a shim. Not something I have done but discussed in old threads.

Shimming at the hub would press the spokes outward and would likely produce a gap between the tenon shoulders. An old method of fixing loose spokes would be to use a spoke jack and shims. It might work better if your fellow is not locked to the table with rim bolts and the spokes and hub should be lubricated with wax or oil as mention previously. You might have a “high” radiator and a “low” hood. Or maybe your radiator support rod is the longer one for wood firewalls. 20 3/4” versus 19 1/2”. Martin Vowel’s drawings of mufflers show differences over the years and break away/assembly views. Part numbers match the vender catalogues but no dimensions.

I post from my iPhone and regularly get the yellow triangle failure to up load. I “edit” the photo, rotate it 90 degrees, save, edit again, rotate back to normal, save, then it always uploads without error.
