26-27 Side Curtains - Roadster

Post by DontKnowMuch » Sat Jun 27, 2020 12:16 pm

I have a 1927 Roadster and I am considering installing side curtains. There are a combination of hooks, fastener posts, and snaps on the windshield stanchions, top, and top bow. The ones on the stanchions are facing the rear so I assume the side curtains go inside behind the windshield. I have tried to find good pictures and have found some where the side curtains wrap around the stanchions and fasten on the front side. That seems that it would funnel air and rain inside and does not seem practical. I would like some suggestions about enlarging the clear panels for more vivibility,

This may have been discussed before but I am looking for up close pictures of a 26-27 Roadster so I can determine if the types and locations of the fasteners are "correct". Then I can decide on how to proceed. Please let me know links of previous discussions and up close pictures.

Thanks for your help.
